IRGC is saying they didn't hit the passenger terminal. Instead, they're claiming it was a Patriot air defense system that screwed up trying to intercept Iranian missiles and ended up destroying the terminal itself. So either Iran's lying about firing at it, or the US air defense system is so incompetent it's taking out civilian infrastructure in allied countries. Neither scenario is good. Both are damning in different ways.
