Week of Oct 5

Trump's Iran war flattened US bases while he pivoted to buying Russian diesel and thanking Putin. His new press secretary deleted her Twitter over Chinese-state ties, and the ICJ ruled Israel's occupation apartheid.

Iran won the war Trump started. Iran flattened US bases and kept weaponizing oil while Saudi infrastructure burns, and Fox News admitted the war is wrecking the economy. Congress is now blocked from seeing the strike damage, and the Pentagon has ordered CENTCOM to prepare for more combat. Miller credited Trump for cheap gas that doesn't exist to paper over it.

Trump pivoted to Russian oil and abandoned Ukraine. He thanked Putin for a Russian diesel deal, a scheme critics call pure market manipulation Russia can't fulfill, got a Kremlin-approved 90-minute broadcast, then blamed Zelensky for the war and walked away from his criticism. GOP sanctions hawks fell in line behind the imports. Bessent may face criminal charges for it; Trump won't.

The new press secretary is a liability by design. Katie Zacharia scrubbed her Twitter to hide years at a Chinese-state-aligned law firm, and calls abortion pills Nazi chemicals.

The ICJ ruled Israel's occupation apartheid. The formal determination is the clearest legal indictment yet. The Nobel board meanwhile attacked its own genocide investigation, and Shapiro dodged Gaza before TPUSA buried the tape.

Armed troops appeared at ballot boxes. Federal troops stationed at a drop box constitute voter intimidation, ballots were stolen from a Sacramento mail truck, and Trump barred international election monitors for the first time in twenty years.
