Median voter in America: broke and furious

The core story of American politics right now isn't ideology. It's that people can't afford to live anywhere and no one in power is offering a real solution. Housing crisis doesn't move because both parties treat it as a zoning problem instead of a wealth extraction problem. Landlords and developers own the conversation. Politicians shrug or promise vague fixes that never materialize. Meanwhile, the median voter watches politics theater while their rent consumes half their income. That's the actual voter mandate: stop the bleeding.
