Trump caves on Iran, Tehran raises the price

Trump told aides he'll end the Iran situation without a nuclear deal if they reopen the Strait of Hormuz. That's a full retreat from his "unconditional surrender" theater. But Iran saw the desperation and went nuclear on their demands: • $300 billion in compensation • $100 billion in frozen assets unfrozen • All sanctions lifted • US troops out of the entire region • End the naval blockade • Transit fees on every ship This is what happens when you wage economic war on someone and then decide you need them more than they need you. Trump wanted to look tough. He ended up weak.
