DSA member Brad Lander just crushed his congressional race in one of the most heavily Jewish districts in the country. The subtext here is ugly: people claiming the Left has an antisemitism problem just got demolished by a Jewish leftist who called out the "vile" reaction to Oct. 7 from his own party. This torpedoes the whole narrative that pro-Palestinian politics = antisemitism. Lander won because actual Jewish voters in his actual district chose him anyway. The "rising antisemitism" framing doesn't survive contact with election results.
