Dr Margaret Connolly was among Irish citizens detained by Israeli forces when they intercepted a Gaza-bound aid flotilla in the Mediterranean. This is what happens when you try to deliver humanitarian aid to a population being starved and bombed. Israel intercepted the flotilla, detained the people on it, and nobody in Western media treats it like the act of piracy it is.
