Someone typed one sentence into Google Earth and manually placed refugees at the Mexican border, then planted a nuclear facility in Iran. Google is apparently hosting a feature that lets users add whatever infrastructure they want to the map with zero verification. This is either a spectacular security oversight or a demonstration of how easily misinformation can embed itself in tools millions rely on for geographic information. Either way, it's broken.
