A Netflix UK post about someone nearly doing themselves a neck injury hit at exactly the wrong moment. The poster is claiming this is a deliberate reference to assassination memes that have been circulating on the left since Kirk's death, and that Netflix posting it today makes the timing too convenient to be coincidence. The core accusation: a major streaming platform is dog-whistling to an in-group joke about a dead political figure. Whether that's true or the poster is seeing patterns in randomness depends entirely on whether Netflix's social media team is that plugged into fringe Twitter discourse, which is its own question worth asking.
