Nikki Haley just went on X claiming her birth certificate says "Nikki" and she was "born and raised with that name." That's a lie. Her name on her birth certificate is Nimarata Randhawa. Nikki is her middle name. She knows Trump's Republican Party would spit her out if she ran as Nimarata Randhawa, a Punjabi Sikh woman. So she performs this whole "what's the big deal, it's just my name" routine while scrubbing her actual identity from the record. The weird part isn't that she goes by Nikki. The weird part is the constant pretense that this is normal and apolitical when we all know exactly why she did it and why she has to keep lying about it.
