Mahmoud Khalil filed a lawsuit against Columbia University and SIPA Dean Keren Yarhi-Milo today for systemic discrimination against Palestinian students. He says Columbia spent over two years ignoring pleas for safety and protection, deliberately paving the way for his targeting by the Trump administration. "Our safety and our wellbeing did not serve the ideological project its Board of Trustees was protecting, so they traded us away." Khalil is joined by the Palestine Working Group and promises to pursue accountability against the Columbia officials who enabled what happened.
