Vance's annoying voice strikes again
Administration official just complained that Oman was "duplicitous" during Iran talks and acted like "employees of the Iranians," so they kicked them out of the process.
Sounds exactly like the petulant, arrogant tone Vance uses when he's trying to sound tough but just comes off insecure.
A senior U.S. administration official said Oman was “duplicitous” during negotiations with Iran and was effectively removed from its traditional mediation role. “We were very unhappy with the job the Omanis did,” the official said. “We felt they were very duplicitous and almost like employees of the Iranians ... so we kind of threw them out of this process.” Source: CNN
