This is what passes for Middle East strategy now: personal leverage theater with zero coordination or long-term thinking. He's basically telling every regional player that US policy is whatever deal he feels like making today, not any coherent doctrine. Egypt gets aid for his dam, Iran gets capitulation, Israel gets a blank check. It's pure transactionalism dressed up as dealmaking.
