Claude Code Audited the Pentagon. Found $4.2B.

Someone pointed Claude Code at the Pentagon's public budget data and asked it to find contracts overpaying by 10x. 340 flagged. $4.2 billion in potential undercuts. Then it wrote a business proposal, walked the guy through registering on SAM.gov, and started drafting the first bid. The agent is literally trying to win the contracts it just exposed as overpriced. This is either the most efficient consulting firm ever started or the beginning of something genuinely unhinged.

An AI agent audited Pentagon public spending, flagged $4.2B in bloated contracts, then immediately started writing bids to undercut them, which is either genius or a preview of how defense procurement gets completely broken.
