BBC buries Manchester City's massive fraud story
The Premier League's entire competitive integrity for nearly two decades was compromised by what amounts to a 900 million pound fraud, and the BBC's coverage somehow managed to miss the actual story entirely. No serious effort to explain what this means for the sport, who benefited, or why nobody saw it coming when it was happening across the whole division.
This is what happens when sports journalism becomes stenography.
