Food recall list keeps growing
Over 50 products recalled across the past year for Salmonella, Listeria, E. coli, botulism, and other contamination. The list spans everything from infant formula and eggs to chocolate, cheese, supplements, and fish.
Salmonella dominates the failures (seasoning, snacks, chips, chocolate). Listeria hits dairy hard (multiple cheeses, cream cheese, salmon). Botulism shows up in canned and fermented goods (herring, garlic, supplements). E. coli in produce (blueberries, lettuce).
Pattern is clear: no category is safe right now. From fresh food to shelf-stable snacks to supplements marketed as health products. The scale suggests enforcement isn't catching problems until products are already circulating.
