Senator John Fetterman is on the red carpet at Bill Maher's Mark Twain prize ceremony berating a New York Times reporter who asked him a question. His excuse: calling the paper "anti-Israel." The reporter's actual question apparently had nothing to do with Israel. Doesn't matter. This is what happens when a politician buys into the narrative that any criticism or unfriendly coverage automatically equals antisemitism. He's so primed for the attack that he invented it himself. Classic move. When you can't defend your position, just scream about a different issue entirely.
