Congress Is Running Campaign Ads on Your Dime

$1.4 million in taxpayer funds spent by the House this cycle running what are, functionally, campaign ads. They call it "franking." It's a legal racket that lets incumbents blast their constituents with self-promotional content and bill you for it. Looks like a campaign ad. Walks like a campaign ad. Just happens to be publicly funded.
