Pentagon to livestream firing squad execution
The US military is livestreaming the execution of Nidal Hasan on Dec. 3, the ex-Army major convicted of the 2009 Fort Hood shooting that killed 13 people. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed the Pentagon is making it public.
This will be the first execution of an American service member since 1961.
Turning executions into spectacle. That's what happens when you stop pretending to be a functioning democracy.
The U.S. military plans to livestream the execution of Nidal Hasan, the ex-Army major who was convicted of the 2009 killing of 13 people at Fort Hood, when he faces a firing squad on Dec. 3, a Pentagon official said.
