Zeekr (the Chinese automaker owned by Geely) builds these for Waymo, then Magna retrofits the sensors. Even after eating a 100% tariff, they're still 50% cheaper than the Jaguar versions. That's how badly America's pricing advantage has eroded. China's building better, faster, cheaper. The tariff just proves the US can't actually compete anymore, so it's just taxing the difference.
