Trump's Nobel Prize fantasy, deconstructed

Watch Trump answer a simple question about the Nobel Prize. He doesn't answer it. Instead he loops through the same five claims (settled eight wars, got hostages back, prevented nuclear war, did things nobody else did, Obama got it for nothing) while inventing a false memory where someone named Maria gave him a Nobel and said he deserved it more than anyone in history. The thing that kills you is how perfectly it captures his mind working: word associations pulling him from Nobel to wars to hostages to tariffs to threatening countries, each claim inflating as it recycles. Reality doesn't matter. Truth doesn't matter. What matters is the sound of his own voice agreeing with itself. He's not confused. He's not misspeaking. This is his actual operating system.
