Nationwide, immigrants including undocumented ones are half as likely to be incarcerated for crimes as US-born Americans. Traffic fatalities in California are about 25% lower for immigrant drivers. Texas illegal immigrants commit fewer road felonies. Lower alcohol abuse rates. The whole point: "since immigrants overall reduce the crime rate, immigration reduces the likelihood that any one of us will be harmed." This is the facts side of the argument. Republicans aren't interested.
