Texas Democrats join GOP censorship push
Four Texas politicians spanning both parties just demanded UT Austin cancel a speech. A public university. The 1st Amendment says the government can't do that. Henry Cuellar joining Ted Cruz, Greg Abbott, and Ken Paxton on this is the tell: censorship isn't partisan anymore, it's bipartisan when the target fits.
The irony writes itself. Dems loudly oppose Trump's authoritarian moves while quietly wielding the same playbook against speakers they dislike.
Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) calls Hasan Piker’s appearance at the University of Texas, “deeply concerning.”
