Trump Is Stealing Credit for Biden's Meat Label Rule

For 20 years, meatpackers could slap "Product of USA" on beef born, raised, and slaughtered in another country, as long as it got lightly touched in the US. Biden's USDA spent two years in a brutal fight against the Big Four meatpackers to end that scam, and finalized the fix in March 2024.
All Trump's USDA is doing is implementing that Biden rule. That's it. They inherited it and are now taking a victory lap.
Oh, and they're also botching the implementation, because DOGE gutted the exact USDA division responsible for enforcing meat labeling rules.
These scam artists are taking credit for a rule they inherited and are ruining as we speak.
