SCOTUS shields prison guards from religious rights violations
Supreme Court just ruled 6-3 that Rastafarian prisoners can't hold Louisiana guards personally liable for forcibly shaving their dreadlocks, even when it violates their religious rights.
This is the one where guards literally threw away a Fifth Circuit opinion saying they couldn't do exactly that, then did it anyway. The Court's response: sorry, qualified immunity covers you.
Liberals dissented. Of course they did.
