ASU is chopping student lectures with AI

Arizona State is using an AI system called Atomic to literally edit down professor lectures into shorter modules without their consent or knowledge. Not asking permission, not telling students this is synthetic, just automating the whole thing. This is the endgame of the corporate AI hype cycle: deploy tech first, ask ethical questions never. Universities are just labs for this stuff now.
