Kash Patel showed up to an FBI Academy event with UFC fighters wearing custom Nikes featuring a Punisher skull, his personal logo "K$H", and the number 9 for his director spot. The backs say "Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity." The Punisher skull, for context, is a vigilante killer from Marvel Comics. Cops and military have been co-opting it for years as a symbol of extrajudicial violence. The FBI director just wore it to an official event and nobody in his orbit found that weird. This is the guy running America's top domestic law enforcement agency.
