Mullin attacks Talarico for citing scripture

DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin just called out Democrat James Talarico for justifying his positions with scripture, calling it "dangerous." The irony is industrial-grade. Mullin is part of an administration stocked with Christian nationalist zealots who literally campaign on Bible belt politics. Stephen Miller quotes scripture. Trump's interior circle markets itself to evangelical voters. But when a Democrat does it, suddenly it's a red line. This is the tell: they don't object to scripture in politics. They object to the other side using it. Selective outrage dressed up as principle.
