13-year-old faces deportation alone in Texas courtroom
In a Texas courtroom Monday, a judge asked Angel, 13, if he wanted to request voluntary departure or face a removal order. He broke down crying: "I have no one. I have nothing."
Around him: 25 migrant children. A 9-year-old resting her head on the table. A 6-year-old pretending to fly. A 3-year-old playing with the microphone. Most had no attorney. At least one got deported.
