Israel's launching fresh strikes on Lebanon while Trump's supposedly telling them to stop. Either Trump has zero leverage, Israel doesn't care what he says, or both. Probably both. The "special relationship" is looking less special when you realize one side just does whatever it wants and the other side tweets about it.
