Oracle tells Wisconsin: you pay for our power

Oracle, one of the biggest tech companies alive, just told Wisconsin regulators it can't afford the full electricity bill for its data centers. So it wants the public to cover the gap. The company makes billions. Data centers are its entire business model. And it's demanding taxpayers subsidize the infrastructure that generates those billions. This is just naked extraction. The company gets the profit. You get the bill.
