Trump admin tightens Green Card loophole

New policy: if you're in the US temporarily and want a Green Card, you have to go back home to apply. No more staying put while your paperwork processes. The framing here is classic Trump admin theater. They're calling it "returning to the original intent of the law" and "closing loopholes," but what they're actually doing is forcing people to abandon their lives in the US, leave their jobs, their families, everything, and then hope they get approved to come back. It's a hostile act dressed up as law and order. This is designed to make the process harder, not clearer. The "loophole" they're closing is just... how the system has functioned for years. Call it what it is: intentional cruelty with a legal veneer.
