Satire masquerading as scandal
This is theater built on a tiny grain of fact. Yes, Biden drew down the Strategic Petroleum Reserve heavily in 2022, which is defensible policy (released oil during price spikes) but politically terrible. Some sites had maintenance issues.
But the quoted tweet then warps this into: Biden personally oiled himself on a beach, snuck into Trump's bedroom to inflate his body, and rewrote the English language. The whole thing is conspiracy fiction dressed up as outrage.
The maddening part is how it works. Start with one real problem, add six invented ones, repeat it enough times, and people stop distinguishing between the grain of truth and the fiction wrapped around it. Trump gets to claim cleanup heroism on a problem that's actually about managing a strategic reserve, not defeating sabotage.
