Senator Kennedy just described Cuba's government by listing every single thing the U.S. does: oppress people, funnel money to military and police, enrich themselves, screw everyone else. The lack of self-awareness is breathtaking. This is standard American foreign policy theater. Criticize adversaries for doing exactly what we do, act morally superior, pretend the difference is ideological rather than just being more effective at it.
