Principal cuts mic on Palestinian advocacy speech

17-year-old valedictorian Leen Hijazi spoke at graduation about suffering in Palestine, Sudan, Congo, and Afghanistan, plus families torn apart by ICE. The principal killed her microphone mid-speech and threatened her diploma: "If you don't stop, you won't graduate." The school withheld her diploma for four days.
