$900B Swing on Trump's Iran Word Salad
The timeline here is genuinely insane.
2:30 PM: CBS reports Trump considering "boots on the ground" in Iran.
3:43 PM: Trump says "I don't want to do a ceasefire with Iran." S&P hits a new 2026 low.
5:13 PM: Trump says the US is "considering winding down" the war with Iran.
6:15 PM: Market up +1.8% from the low, +$900 billion in market cap added.
The part that should have everyone losing their minds: the S&P was already up nearly 1% between 3:43 and 5:13 on ZERO news. No announcement. Nothing.
Someone knew. Or someone made a very lucky bet. And now markets are closed until Monday.
