Kamala admits voting rights is a lost cause

Kamala Harris just said out loud what everyone suspected: the voting rights act isn't coming back anytime soon and it's not worth fighting for because "this congress" won't pass it. So her play is to give up before even trying. This is what Democratic leadership looks like when it has no plan and no spine. You don't get voting rights by accepting they're politically impossible. You fight anyway, lose publicly, and build on that loss. Instead she's pre-emptively surrendering and calling it strategy.

Kamala Harris: I honestly don't believe that it will be anytime soon that we are going to revive the voting rights act. So, I don't believe it is going to be the best use of our energy right now to try to get that done because I don't know that it will get done right now the way this congress is composed and the way they have been treating civil rights issues.
