Congress condemns streamer on AIPAC's dime
So Congress is literally introducing a resolution to condemn Hasan Piker for antisemitism, and the two sponsors (Gottheimer and Lawler) have collectively pulled nearly $3 million from AIPAC and pro-Israel lobby groups.
This is what passes for governance now. A resolution attacking a streamer while the entire infrastructure collapses. The sponsors aren't even hiding the conflict of interest anymore.
Congress is set to introduce a resolution today condemning Hasan Piker for allegedly spreading “antisemitism” The resolution was brought forward by Reps. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Mike Lawler (R-NY). The two received nearly $3 million from AIPAC/pro-Israel lobby groups combined.
