Not attacking Trump's cabinet of billionaires and ghouls. Not defending their own voters. Not proposing anything. Just performance anxiety dressed up as principle. The DSA has no legislative seats, no money, no administrative power. The threat here is rhetorical. So four moderate House members burned political capital punching left, presumably to signal their seriousness to donors and cable news producers who've already decided Democrats are too soft. It's contempt for their own base disguised as ideological clarity.
