Kennedy Center funneled foreign bribes through DRC
The Kennedy Center apparently operated as a slush fund for foreign bribes. Alina Habba initially told Trump the $17 million transfer came from her husband, but the actual wire receipt showed it came from the DRC government. The sender was redacted when presented to the White House.
Trump installing Grenell there initially makes a lot more sense now.
Alina Habba Mildon initially told Trump that the $17mn bank transfer at the heart of her spat with Grenell came from her husband. But when her lawyers later presented White House the wire receipt, the sender was redacted. The money actually came from the government of the DRC.
