The same consultants wringing their hands about engaging young creators are the ones who said Democrats need to go on Joe Rogan and stop being so precious about cancel culture. Democrats go on Fox News, Democrats go on Rogan. If young people are having conversations there, Democrats have a responsibility to show up and actually listen instead of preaching from the sidelines. It's the oldest move in the playbook: demand candidates engage broadly when you want them to, then attack them for engaging too broadly when it's inconvenient.
