Cornhole Pro Accused of Murder, Drove Off With Body
Dayton Webber, quadruple amputee and professional cornhole star, is accused of shooting and killing 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells in Maryland, then driving off with the body still in his Tesla.
Investigators say it's unclear how Webber fired the weapon given he has no arms or legs. A video from January 2024 shows him loading and firing a handgun.
Police say he asked two passengers in the backseat to help dump the body. They refused, got out, and called the cops.
The American Cornhole League released a statement:
"The ACL is aware of the reports regarding allegations involving Dayton Webber. This is an extremely serious matter and our thoughts are with all those impacted, including the family and loved ones of Bradrick Michael Wells."
"At this time, this remains an active legal situation. We respect the judicial process and will not comment on specific allegations or details while proceedings are ongoing."
Webber faces first and second-degree murder charges.

"He then pulled over and asked two backseat passengers to help pull Wells out of the car. They refused and got out of the car before calling the police." Webber then allegedly drove off with Wells' body in the car. It's completely unclear how Webber was able to fire a weapon, considering he doesn't have fingers. "It’s early in the investigation, but there’s no evidence to suggest anyone else was involved in the shooting and that he acted alone," said Diane Richardson, Charles County Sheriff's Office. A professional cornhole player with no arms or legs is accused of shooting someone dead in his Tesla and driving off with the body, in a case that raises obvious questions investigators haven't yet answered.
