California hits 50% solar, feds kill subsidies

California just generated over 50% of its electricity from solar in a month. Texas hit 34%. Battery costs are collapsing. Utility-scale solar is now one of the cheapest power sources available. So naturally the Trump administration is slashing federal support for the technology that's already winning.
