Musk is now promising to bankroll Gibson with $100 million for a "historically accurate" Odyssey adaptation. This is the same guy who swore he'd have an AI-generated version done by year end and delivered nothing. Gibson's last major film was a decade ago. This will either be vaporware or genuinely unhinged. Probably both.
