Fetterman shows up at GOP convention

x.com US Politics

Bigger picture

This caps a week of Democratic figures showing up at the GOP midterm convention: Fetterman joins other Dems who appeared on that stage, all either already defeated or departing, which the GOP is apparently banking on instead of building its own message. The convention itself has been a parade of chaos, from dropped Ls to accidental leftist streamers on the big screen to cabinet members groping congresswomen live on stage. The party has no platform left, just celebrity guests and desperation.

A Democratic senator on stage at a Republican convention, continuing the week's pattern of the GOP's actual base and message collapsing into theater.
