South Korea says yes to US Iran war. Seoul says no.

South Korea is about to become the first country to deploy directly under US command in the Strait of Hormuz. Except Seoul is drowning in protests. Daily demonstrations outside the US embassy. Seoul Peace Solidarity and National People's Action saying no to Washington's pressure. "Refuse US military pressure!" chanted in the streets. Parliament is being prepped to approve anyway. The framing: "defensive." The reality: South Korea would supply logistics, intelligence, and direct support for US military ops against Iran. A country entirely dependent on Gulf oil imports (70% of crude from the region) now betting its economy on escalation. Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei warned Seoul straight: any country operating there supports the aggressor. This is what subordination looks like. South Korea's military passes to US command in wartime under OPCON. Washington just downgraded joint drills last month when Seoul wouldn't back the Iran war. Now approval is being railroaded through anyway. First deployment on US orders in 22 years. The US doesn't ask countries like this. It tells them.
