Israel's sad Ben & Jerry's knockoff revenge
So Israel's government just launched an official ice cream brand because Ben & Jerry's has a Palestine boycott policy. They're calling it "Milk & Honey," made with kibbutz dairy and honey, and promoting it as some patriotic thing.
This is what petty looks like at a state level. Instead of, you know, actual policy responses, the government is literally copying another ice cream company's business model to own the libs. The branding, the marketing, the whole vibe - it's Ben & Jerry's but make it nationalist.
It's embarrassing. It's the geopolitical equivalent of a middle schooler starting a rival lunch table.
Israel now has an official ice cream flavor. 🍦🇮🇱 Milk & Honey is made with milk from Kibbutz Alumim, honey from Kibbutz Yad Mordechai and was created to support communities in southern Israel. The Land of Milk and Honey just got a little more literal. What flavor should be next?
