Matty Yglesias Admits the Quiet Part Out Loud
Yglesias, professional moderate brain, just openly admitted he "fears the left's growing power" and his strategic advice to Democrats is to pretend to agree with anti-genocide sentiment and then ignore it.
That's not strategy. That's a confession that the liberal establishment never actually disagreed with the left on Gaza. They just chose the donor class anyway.
He said the quiet part loud and called it savvy.
As someone who absolutely fears the left's growing power, I think the smart play is for moderate Dems to go on Piker's show and agree with him that Israel is bad and then stick to their guns on other moderate stuff.
