Israeli generals say they're Nazis. Media silent.
Israeli military officials and government figures have been published in the New York Times making comparisons to Nazi Germany, Adolf Hitler, and the Holocaust regarding their own country's actions.
The coverage disparity is stark: when a political commentator says something similar, it triggers immediate CNN segments and Democratic condemnations. When Israeli officials say it about their own policies, the US press largely ignores it or buries the lede.
This isn't hypothetical outrage. This is the actual words of people running the military, and they're clearly alarmed enough to break their own silence. That should dominate coverage. It doesn't.
