Red team exercise too realistic for comfort
Someone in a 3-letter agency designed a terrorism red team scenario and got ordered to delete the original version because there was no way the blue team could actually defend against it.
That's not incompetence. That's acknowledgment.
A friend of mine in a 3 letter agency concocted a red team exercise for a terrorist attack on a major city and they made him tone it down and delete his original plan because there was no realistic path for the blue team to win
