Usha Vance: stable family means no need for faith

So Usha's basically saying she didn't convert to Catholicism because her Hindu household wasn't "broken" like JD's apparently was. Which is a wild thing to say out loud about your husband's religious journey, but also exactly the kind of casual elitism you'd expect from someone who views faith as a backup plan for unstable people. Not "I chose this belief." Just "I didn't need to escape my life."

"I grew up in a Hindu household that was a very stable household. I have not felt the same need to seek something different that he (JD Vance) has," says US Second Lady Usha Vance on her religion and her husband's conversion to Catholicism
